OFFER INFORMATION STATEMENT
The Manager refers to the announcement dated 19 January 2021 in relation to the launch of the rights issue to raise gross proceeds of approximately S$158.2 million (the “Rights Issue”).
The Manager has, on 27 January 2021 issued and lodged with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (the “Authority”) the offer information statement in relation to the Rights Issue (the “Offer Information Statement”). Pursuant to the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments) (Temporary Exemption from Sections 277(1)(c) and 305B(1)(b)) Regulations 2020, the Manager will not be despatching hardcopies of the Offer Information Statement to Eligible Unitholders. EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING 2021
The Board of Directors of First REIT Management Limited (the “Board”), in its capacity as manager of First Real Estate Investment Trust (“First REIT”, and as manager of First REIT, the “Manager”) refer to the Manager’s announcement on the Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) of First REIT which will be convened and held by way of electronic means on Tuesday, 19 January 2021 at 2.30 p.m. (Singapore time).
Our Lead Independent Director, Mr Adrian Chan and our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Victor Tan, will conduct the proceedings of the EGM.
SIAS-FIRST REIT VIRTUAL DIALOGUE SESSION
First REIT held a SIAS-First REIT virtual dialogue session (the “Virtual Dialogue Session”) on Thursday, 7 January 2021 at 5.00 p.m., in relation to the Proposed LPKR MLA Restructuring and the proposed Rights Issue (each as defined in the First REIT circular dated 28 December 2020 (the “Circular”) (together, the “Proposed Transactions”) and to better understand the resolutions to be tabled at an upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting of First REIT, to be held on 19 January 2021 at 2:30 p.m.
